Position Overview

The Sr. Manager – Strategy & Business Excellence will play a critical leadership role in driving the end-to-end project lifecycle for the company—from land acquisition inception, feasibility, master planning, regulatory coordination, execution tracking, through to delivery and handover.

This role requires a hands-on, analytical, and highly collaborative individual who can work seamlessly across internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring that all strategic initiatives and development projects align with the company’s vision and business goals.

As a key member of the senior management team, the role works directly with the CEO and COO, providing strategic insights, project governance, and performance excellence across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Business Excellence

  • Lead the development and implementation of corporate strategy and business excellence frameworks.
  • Work closely with the CEO/COO to translate vision into actionable business plans and measurable KPIs.
  • Identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking and market intelligence to support decision-making.

2. Project Lifecycle Ownership (End-to-End)

  • Participate in the inception and evaluation of new land acquisition opportunities, including due diligence, financial feasibility, risk assessment, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Support master planning, concept development, and product positioning for real estate projects.
  • Oversee project governance, timelines, dashboards, and performance reporting for all developments.
  • Coordinate with design, development, construction, sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure milestones are met.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the central link between senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Ensure each department meets quality, financial, and timeline objectives.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication to remove bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.

4. Government & Regulatory Coordination

  • Liaise with key government entities, regulators, and approving authorities to secure required NOCs, permits, and approvals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government bodies to accelerate project clearances.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Manage diverse stakeholders—internal teams, consultants, partners, investors, government agencies.
  • Support the CEO/COO in high-level presentations, board reports, investor briefs, and strategic communications.

6. Performance Excellence & Governance

  • Develop and monitor performance dashboards, reporting structures, and project control systems.
  • Implement risk management and mitigation strategies across all projects.
  • Lead task forces and special strategic initiatives designated by leadership.

7. Talent & ESOP-Linked Initiatives

  • Work with HR and leadership to identify high-potential employees and align them with the ESOP framework.
  • Contribute insights to succession planning and organisation development initiatives.
