Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architect with a consulting firm background and 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Dubai. The role is ideal for a professional who has worked on building projects from concept to execution and is comfortable working with drawings, coordination, and documentation in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings across various stages, including concept, schematic, and detailed design
- Work on building projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use) with exposure to authority requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Assist in design development, technical detailing, and drawing revisions
- Support authority submissions and approvals (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defence, etc.)
- Prepare and review architectural documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Participate in site coordination and respond to RFIs where required
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and project standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Dubai (mandatory)
- Previous experience working in a consultancy firm
- Experience in building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Exposure to BIM / Revit is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of local authority regulations and approval processes
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience in contract documentation, tender drawings, or construction documentation is a plus
- Exposure to site coordination or construction-stage support
- Familiarity with schedules, BOQs, and architectural specifications
